Here we would like to quote our nutritionist (or otherwise said – expert on healthy eating) – Magdalena Pashova: “Do you know that when your baby starts breastfeeding, it stimulates nerve impulses that reach the hypothalamus in the brain and cause thirst. This natural mechanism in our body exists to remind us that when breastfeeding, we need more water! Ultimately, 90% of breast milk content is just water! To make your milk nourishing, you should drink at least 2,5L of water per day. Each time you breastfeed, drink a glass of water and include in your diet plenty of foods with high water content, such as fresh fruits and vegetables”
